Thank you for using the smartphone app or for your interest in it. This privacy policy applies to the Tick Prevention App. The term ‘user’ is used here to refer to app users of any gender.

This privacy policy applies to the Tick Prevention App – hereinafter referred to as the smartphone app. The publisher and developer adhere to the following guidelines: The smartphone app does not collect any data.

  1. Purpose

The risk map in the smartphone app displays the current risk of tick bites for Switzerland and Liechtenstein. In the tick diary, the user records tick bites and sightings. The reminder function prompts users to check the site of the tick bite on their body. If signs of infection appear during the check, the user can seek medical examination. Anonymously submitted bite and sighting data are visible to all users as pink or turquoise dots on the interactive risk map.

Retention of customer data
As no such data is collected, none can be retained.

Deletion of customer data
As no such data is retained, it cannot be deleted.

  1. Location tracking

Location tracking is used to enable users to easily find their own location on the map. This data does not leave the app.

  1. Reports

Users have the option to voluntarily and actively report tick bites and sightings. These reports are sent anonymously to our server and cannot be traced back.

The website www.zecke-tique-tick.ch uses Google Analytics to compile anonymous usage statistics. The publisher has partial access to this data. Google Analytics optionally supports the collection of further information such as demographic data or user interests. These are not used for the website www.zecke-tique-tick.ch
